combination of both, perhaps?

procrastination, thief of time. temptation, the essence of pleasure. assuming that temptation didn't exist, would there be a reason to procrastinate.

playing pool during class and sleeping on the bean bags in the time it takes to draft an essay is a combination of both ... or is it. sleeping in campus could be a result of late nights and the pool games maybe during class can be seen as a way of distressing your mind.

the insight that i have gotten so far is leading me towards the conflict between temptation and procrastination, however once taking a deeper look into this, temptation is the root of procrastination.

finding a solution for this problem will be a bit difficult however, the root of procrastination is temptation after all . the analogy is simple: to get rid of the temptation, will relieve you from procrastination.

is it really procrastination or is it temptation?

procrastination is said to be the thief of time, but then how about if your doing something and something striking catches your eye, what if its something that looks sooo good that you just wana get your hands on it or do something with it.

well most of the time at Vega I have noticed that consults are an important part of the curriculum, however temptation gets the best of every one.

there are alot of things in campus that are meant to be accessed by students just to relax or maybe even be a bit competitive, but according to some on the students I interviewed said that, these friendly pass times turn into and addictive competition that tends to become a part of a means of procrastination.

but ... Is this the temptation or procrastination ...

why do they procrastinate?

people get intimidated with huge stacks of questions and someone asking them about themselves. so far i have discovered that when i have approached people with questionnaires.

the responses i have gotten over the past two weeks were pretty much similar to each other. and over and over again, the same question came up, "is this for the school" or "are you doing this to get info about school?"

the fact that college students decide to rebel against the rules sometimes gives them an uneasiness especially when someone as harmless and timid as me approaches them. my previous post has given me a good insight on why students are leaving or changing courses. procrastination

even though the assignments are reasonable and the exams are fair, people find it hard to cope due to distractions in their daily lives, bad eating habits and smoking are also one of the key factors as to why people procrastinate. people tend to take breaks during work time and during those breaks they eat alot or smoke alot making them feel a bit lazy.

now i need to gain a lil more insight on how to solve this problem ...

procrastination, rest or thief of time?

during the past week at this wondrous campus, i have been researching "if " there is a problem at this campus, and through my hunger for insight, i have been interviewing people and asking them questions such as "do you enjoy coming to vega?", "do you enjoy using the facilities in campus?", "are you coping with the work load?" and the main question, "do you think that there is a general problem at vega?"

the people that i have asked these questions to all gave me a similar response, they seem to enjoy coming to this campus, they love using the facilities, and the work load was, according to the students, alot but but too much.

by the looks of things at first, vega is alot to handle because due to the thief of time some people find that doing assignments are tedious and tiresome. procrastination is the 'students' biggest problem, but what about the campus?

I've been in Vega since February this year, and I've noticed that there are a lot of good and great things about this place, but a few people are finding it hard to cope, and due to my inquisitive nature I should find out about what these issues are and how I should ideate to solve these ideas.

the process of doing research is more tedious than people think, especially when you are researching the Vega way of life. focus groups, surveys, interviews etcetera are all ways of doing, what I like to call "contact research". this way I could get some clear insight on why people are falling asleep in class and why people are leaving Vega or why anyone is about to leave.

thee most often complaint I get when I ask people, in general, "are you okay?' the most common reply is, "yeah kind of, I'm just really tired though, I was only able to sleep at 2 in the morning"

the point of this blog in the first place is for me to find out why people are always tired, research, ideation and creation is the process that I'm going to use, to gain an insight on the energy drain at Vega.
